CubCrafters Exhibits at AOPA Summit 2012

Blue Skies and Warm Temperatures Welcome GA Enthusiasts

CubCrafters’ Carbon Cub was on display at the AOPA Summit in Palm Springs, October 11-13. The Summit is an annual event organized by the Aircraft Owners & Pilots Association (AOPA). It’s aimed at educating current and prospective flyers, and it showcases a vast array of products and services.

The show begins with the Parade of Planes, a unique spectacle focused on 76 aircraft taxiing on city streets from Palm Springs International Airport (PSP) to the Convention Center. The planes take display positions around the outside perimeter of the Exhibit Hall. Inside, vendors offered headsets, avionics, flight gear, apparel and much to more tempt attendees.

Personnel working CubCrafters’ booth were from two western Certified Sales Centers: Melanie & John Hodges of California Cubs (CC’s California CSC), and Jeff Baber of SunCountry Aircraft Sales (CC’s dealer in Arizona). Two factory guys were also there to help out: Randy Lervold, CC General Manager, and John Whitish, CC Marketing Manager.

More than 10,000 aviation enthusiasts attended the Summit, and the Carbon Cub was always surrounded by fans!
