N7614P - Like New Tow Equipped 180 HP Top Cub
“Almost Showroom New” are the words that best describe this used CubCrafters Top Cub. Only one owner since new and only lightly used, N7614P has only 280 hours total time on both the airframe, engine, and propeller. With no damage history and having always been hangared in the dry climate of northern Utah, it would be easy to mistake this Top Cub for a brand new aircraft.
Although it’s equipped with a Schweizer hook for glider towing, the aircraft has never been used in that capacity. The owner and his brother had planned on getting into soaring when they purchased this aircraft, but life simply got too busy. Note that this is the very same powerful 180 HP Top Cub aircraft setup currently used in Colorado at a field elevation of over 6,500’ at the USAF Academy for over 17,000 training and competition glider tow sorties each year. The Top Cub makes an excellent glider tow aircraft and this one is equipped and ready for that use.
This Top Cub is also ready for immediate back country use. With an included STC for a gross weight increase to 2000 lbs. and equipped with 26” Goodyear Tundra Tires, welded on float fittings, extended baggage, and an aggressive McCauley 82” climb propeller, the possibilities for adventure with N7614P are endless.

N156CC - 2004 CubCrafters Built PA-18
A real load hauling Alaska bush plane. This upgraded Super Cub, featured in the 2009 ‘Alaskans fly Alaska’ video, is the two place tandem workhorse of back country flying. Featuring over 1000 lbs. of useful load, equipped with 31” bush wheels, an Alaska cargo pod, and a 180 HP Lycoming power plant, N156CC is ready for back country work or play.
This is also the very last Cub that was ever built under the Piper PA-18 150 Type Certificate. As such it’s the youngest aircraft in the entire worldwide Super Cub fleet. Built new in 2004 by CubCrafters, with no damage history and less than 500 hours total time on the airframe and engine, the care taken by the previous owner is apparent. It both looks and flies almost like a brand new airplane.
A fresh July 2014 annual inspection is included in the sale.
